We met the owners whilst they were viewing a flat we were managing in the Cortina d’Ampezzo area. They were looking for more spacious accommodation and a home that would suit this new phase in their lives.

Up until that point, however, they had been assessing the new purchase without knowing exactly what the property they were living in was actually worth. They needed not just a valuation, but a proper comparison with the market, in order to understand how much capital would actually be available and to guide their subsequent search with greater clarity.

Their failure to put their house on the market first also had a tangible consequence. As they were unable to secure the property where we’d first met with a preliminary agreement, just a week after our viewing they saw it sold to another buyer. A missed opportunity that made it even clearer just how, in situations like this, selling and buying must be managed as a single strategy.

That’s why they decided to entrust us with the sale of their house as well.

We defined the positioning, developed the strategy and presented the property, highlighting its contemporary refurbishment, the terrace set amongst greenery and the great versatility of the spaces.

After just one week of meetings, negotiations have already begun.
